1. Collection and Processing of Information
Local Storage: The site uses the browser's local storage to save display preferences (language, filters, map settings, bookmarks) directly on the user's device. This data is not transmitted to the server nor used for tracking or profiling. It can be removed at any time via browser settings.
Cookies: The site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies.
Access Logs: The server automatically records some technical information (e.g., IP address, browser type, date and time of the request) for security, maintenance, and correct service operation purposes. Such data is processed exclusively for technical purposes, retained for a period not exceeding 30 days (unless required by law or for investigation needs) and is not used to identify users nor cross-referenced with other sources.
Hosting: The site is hosted on OVHcloud infrastructure, which as a provider may process technical data (e.g., system logs) for security and infrastructure operation purposes.
Maps (external service): The site uses maps based on OpenStreetMap. Requests are routed through a proxy server, preventing direct connections between the user's browser and third-party providers. Tile providers receive only technical data related to the proxy server, without the possibility of identifying or tracking end users.
2. Legal Basis for Processing
Data processing is based on:
Legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security, maintenance, and correct service operation purposes.
Performance of the service requested by the user (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
3. Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection to processing in cases provided by law. Since the site does not require registration, the exercise of some rights is limited by the anonymous or technical nature of the processed data.
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are adopted to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, or modification.
5. Links to External Sites
The site may contain links to external resources clearly identifiable as such. By accessing these links, the user is redirected to sites not managed by the Data Controller. The processing of personal data by such services is governed by their respective privacy policies, over which the Controller has no control or responsibility.
Accessing external sites may involve the automatic transmission of technical data (e.g., IP address, browser type) necessary to establish the connection.
6. Data Controller
The Data Controller is Michele Neri, based in Italy — contact: info@e-swing.it
