We are super excited to have EKOW and TASH teaching these workshops, not only are they super lovely humans but also beautiful dancers, please book to show you support for these two wonderful dancers. Ekow is an All-Star West Coast Swing dancer and judge, with over 15 years of teaching experience. Together with Tash, they bring a mix of diverse dance influences to deliver fun and supportive workshops focused on creativity, playfulness, and developing your own style. Following the workshop will be our regular monthly HYBRID freestyle with guest DJ Paul Abbott. We would love to see all the regular faces and hopefully some new ones, so come on down and support the growing local West Coast Community. Please arrive by 17:45 Workshops from 18:00 -20:00 Let’s Upgrade Think you’ve mastered the fundamentals? Think again. In these workshops, we’ll take the fundamental movements and patterns you already know and level them up. We’re talking about adding layers, texture, control, and intention to simple steps so they look cleaner, sharper, and way more elevated. You’ll learn how to: Transform basic movements into dynamic, performance-ready combos Add musicality, groove, and detail to familiar patterns Build confidence and style without needing complicated choreography Perfect for dancers who want to look more polished, expressive, and powerful using the foundations they already have. Come ready to move, experiment, and upgrade. For those still mastering their basic you will do the first session with Ekow and Tash then get a repeat second session in a separate room with Kane and Holly to review the moves while the improver + dancers will continue with Ekow and Tash.
