The Velo-Swing Festival is a unique meeting place for swing dancers, bike lovers and vintage fans taking place at the historic Saarbrücken Castle. The festival offers international teachers (Alba Steinlein & Javi Molina from Spain, Trisha Sewell from England), 3 live bands including 2 big bands (Polizei des Saarlandes Big Band, Gramophoniacs, Lenox Avenue), swing parties, outdoor dance floor in the Swing Pavilion, vintage games area, fun bike course with bikes from the German Bicycle Museum, workshops at multiple levels (Intermediate, Intermediate-Advanced, Advanced, Empowerment Track, Teachers Track), special classes including Lindy Airsteps and Connected Motion workshops, theatrical shows by Anita Bertolami, bike tour, food trucks, and family-friendly activities. The festival runs from Friday evening through Sunday with workshops, social dancing, and outdoor activities throughout the weekend at the beautiful baroque castle setting.
