We are very excited to announce that Peter & Elze are coming to Utrecht for a SwingLab Series Special workshop weekend! Elze and Peter are maybe just the right amount of crazy you’ve been looking for. She comes from Lithuania, while he comes from Los Angeles and together, they have this Euro-American style all about fun and connectedness. Their musicality, playfulness, and creativity are not just parts of their light-hearted personalities as dancers, but also as instructors. For them, Lindy Hop is much more than only leading and following… it’s dancing… trying to feel your partner… and in the meantime having a freaking great time! You may have not perfected them yet, but you’ve built a solid foundation. At this level, you’re starting to create your own variations, understand frame and connection, and explore musicality. You're looking for inspiration to elevate your dancing to the next level. Advanced+ (SiU Lindy 4 & up) You’ve been social dancing and attending festivals for years; perhaps you are a teacher yourself. You improvise with confidence, adapt easily to different partners, and can express musicality across a wide range of tempos. Your technique, rhythm, and creativity allow you to dance with clarity, playfulness, and individuality. Teacher training For teachers, we offer something extra: a 2-hour teacher training in which Peter and Elze will go into exercises they use in their local classes, as well as how they approach breaking down and communicating the fundamentals of connection and technique. The teacher training is open to everyone who teaches local classes. SiU teachers will get priority. For this training we ask a fee of 40 euro.
