Swinging Montpellier is an international swing music and dance festival held annually on the Promenade du Peyrou in Montpellier, France. The 2026 edition runs from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 July 2026, offering 4 free evenings of outdoor swing dancing under the stars, Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz masterclasses (intensive and standard tracks) on Saturday and Sunday, free introductory sessions daily from 17h30, two flagship competitions: the choreographic contest dedicated to Duke Ellington repertoire (Friday evening) and the Battle Jazz vs Street Dances in partnership with MUSE[IK] 1ST (Sunday evening), plus after-parties at the Jost Hôtel on Friday and Saturday nights. Live concerts feature the Nutcrackers Combo (Thursday & Friday), Coffee Grinders Quintet (Friday), Sunny Side Trio (Saturday lunchtime), Holy Bounce Orchestra (Saturday & Sunday evenings), and Sing & Dance Trio (Sunday lunchtime). The festival is organized by the association Art, Corps & Lumière and is free to attend for the evening events, with ticketed masterclasses available.
