Swingin' Castle – Balboa Edition 2026 is a beginner-friendly Balboa weekend seminar held at the beautiful historic Burg Fürsteneck castle in the Rhön hills of East Hesse. Led by Betina Fischer & Stuart, participants will learn the basics of social Balboa in closed position and then move into Bal Swing (open positions). The seminar also covers the history of African-American dances (including Balboa), musicality, and personal expression in dance. Full board with vegetarian/vegan options is included. Accommodation in the castle's renovated bright rooms. The seminar has been accredited as a Hessian teacher training course for 2 days. No prior experience required.
