THE BAND - The Lucky Losers Jazz Band Founded in 2021 by drummer and arranger Maarten Kruijswijk, the Lucky Losers Jazz Band brings the sound and energy of early swing straight to the dance floor. Their repertoire dives into the swinging 1920s, ’30s and ’40s, with music by legends like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Jelly Roll Morton. Expect hot rhythms, tight arrangements, soulful solos and plenty of room for improvisation. With a strong feel for Lindy Hop and other swing dances, the Lucky Losers know how to lock into the dancers and keep the floor moving. Whether you're throwing out a Charleston, finding your groove in a swing-out or just soaking up the music, this is vintage jazz made for dancing.
