Hucklebuck Weekend is a dance workshop and party event in Ankara from October 9 to 11, 2026, organized by the Hucklebuck Club collective, which believes dance is a bridge connecting different cultures and disciplines under one roof, from Ballroom to Street Styles and Jazz. This edition is headlined by Alexandre McCormack, one of the most renowned and inspiring figures of the international Solo Jazz scene, known for treating dance as an art of storytelling. The weekend opens Friday, October 9 with a free House music preparty. Saturday, October 10 features a talk on Hellzapoppin' dance scenes and choreography, two Open level Solo Jazz workshops, and an evening party. Sunday, October 11 continues with two Advanced level Solo Jazz workshops and an Open level Bebop workshop. All workshops last one hour with 15-minute breaks between sessions, and an interpreter is provided throughout. Local teachers Ayca and Artunc also join the teaching line-up.
