The Gloucestershire Vintage & Country Extravaganza is a large three‑day heritage and countryside festival taking place from 31 July to 2 August 2026 at South Cerney Airfield near Cirencester, bringing together thousands of vintage and classic transport exhibits, three live arenas, countryside attractions and family entertainment. Visitors can explore full‑size steam engines, stationary engines, classic cars, military vehicles, commercial trucks, buses with rides, tractors, motorcycles, vintage caravans, classic plant and machinery, alongside extensive trade stands, a craft marquee and an artisan food zone offering local and handmade products. The show features the Alec Tanner Arena and the Steam Playpen with continuous parades and demonstrations, an Animal & Countryside Arena with falconry, rare breeds, rural skills and a fun dog show, plus a traditional vintage fun fair with gallopers, Waltzers, a big wheel, Chuffy the Train, tractor trailer rides, penny arcade games, inflatable attractions and children’s shows. Music and dance play a central role, with live bands such as Josie and The Radio Tones, Miss Em and the Midwest Big Band, alongside vintage dance lessons, Lindy Hop demonstrations and beginner classes from Cheltenham Swing Dance, swing stroll sessions, retro fashion shows, vintage hair demonstrations, DJ sets and best dressed competitions, all included in the show entry. The event also offers free vintage bus rides around the showground and connecting services to Cirencester and Kemble railway stations, making it an accessible and affordable family day out that supports multiple charities through the work of the Stroud Vintage Transport & Engine Club.
