Friday 18:00–20:30 — Slow Balboa Review 20:45–00:00 — Social Dance @ Ella’s Fellas Saturday 11:30–12:20 — Movement Session 12:30–14:30 — Crossovers & Cross-Throughs 14:30–15:30 — Lunch 15:30–17:00 — Relax Your Neck & Liberate Your Shoulders (Part 1) 17:00–18:30 — Balboa Practicum Sunday 11:30–12:20 — Movement Session 12:30–14:30 — Throwouts, Toss-Outs & Balboa Swingouts 14:30–15:30 — Lunch 15:30–17:00 — Relax Your Neck & Liberate Your Shoulders (Part 2) 17:00–18:30 — Balboa Practicum We’ll revisit core Balboa and Bal-Swing vocabulary, refine technique, and expand into styling, musicality, and creative expression—with time for integration, feedback, and practice. FRIDAY — Slow Balboa Review 18:00–20:30 — Slow Balboa: Review, Rhythm & Aesthetic Designed for returning students and experienced dancers, this session revisits slow Balboa with depth and intention. We’ll work with: Classic slow Balboa steps and patterns Rhythms and timing Styling and aesthetic choices With time for review, practice, and integration, this is a chance to reconnect with the material and refine your dance. 20:45–00:00 — Social Dance @ Ella’s Fellas Ella’s Fellas, Hohlstrasse 192, Zürich Take it to the floor and bring the material into your social dancing. SATURDAY — Crossovers, Connection & Integration 11:30–12:20 — Movement Session: Wake Up & Align A guided session to mobilize joints, improve coordination, and prepare your body for partner work. 12:30–14:30 — Crossovers & Cross-Throughs: Technique + Styling We’ll review core crossover patterns and expand them with new layers. Including: Crossovers, cross-throughs, continuous crossovers Technique and efficiency Styling and footwork variations for leaders and followers 14:30–15:30 — Lunch Break 15:30–17:00 — Relax Your Neck & Liberate Your Shoulders (Part 1) A movement-based workshop to support smooth, integrated connection. We’ll explore: Releasing tension in the neck and shoulders Functional use of the upper body How the shoulder girdle supports a responsive embrace 17:00–18:30 — Balboa Practicum Guided practice time to integrate material from the day. Expect: Focused repetition Individual feedback Space to refine technique and connection SUNDAY — Throwouts, Creativity & Expansion 11:30–12:20 — Movement Session: Integration & Flow Reconnect, reset, and prepare the body for the day. 12:30–14:30 — Throwouts, Toss-Outs & Balboa Swingouts Expand your dance with dynamic shapes and transitions. We’ll cover: Technique and clarity Variations and styling Creative approaches to timing and musicality 14:30–15:30 — Lunch Break 15:30–17:00 — Relax Your Neck & Liberate Your Shoulders (Part 2) Building on Saturday’s work, we deepen the connection between mobility, alignment, and partner communication. 17:00–18:30 — Balboa Practicum Integration time to bring everything together with coaching and feedback.
