Cardinal West Coast Swing Presents: Pro Workshop with Riley Crozier! Get ready for an exciting afternoon of West Coast Swing! Cardinal West Coast Swing is thrilled to welcome back Riley Crozier (they/them), an All-Star West Coast Swing dancer, instructor, choreographer, and community leader, for a special all-levels workshop followed by an afternoon of social dancing! With over 16 years of West Coast Swing experience, Riley brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and passion to the dance floor. As the founder of Do Your Own Swing (DYOS), a cornerstone of the Bay Area West Coast Swing community, Riley is known for their thoughtful teaching, emphasis on personal expression, and dedication to creating welcoming, inclusive dance spaces. Riley has spent years competing, coaching, choreographing, and teaching at West Coast Swing events and conventions. Their approach encourages dancers to explore their individuality, deepen their connection to the music, and discover new possibilities in their dancing. The workshop is open to dancers of all levels! Whether you're newer to West Coast Swing or have years of experience, Riley will bring insights and ideas to help you grow your dancing. Some familiarity with the basic West Coast Swing patterns will be helpful so you can get the most out of the lesson, but you don't need to be an advanced dancer to participate! After the workshop, stick around for 90 minutes of social dancing to practice what you've learned, connect with other dancers, and enjoy some great music!
