Hey Folks! We are back after our summer hiatus. We have 2 new class series for you: Advanced Beginner (8 weeks): This series is for folks who have previous experience with Balboa (at least a beginner series or a workshop). We will dive a bit deeper into the basics and then add other common moves to your repertoire. We will build on that foundation with fun variations and cool stylings with a focus on lead and follow mechanics that will help you transfer your skills onto the social dance floor. This series is also great for more experienced folks who want to polish their basics, re-evaluate their understanding of Balboa grammar, and focus on their quality of movement. *This series is only available as the full 8 weeks. A la carte classes are not available for this level. Intermediate/Advanced (8 weeks): This series will explore a mix of things in PureBal & Bal-swing with a focus on flowing through movements, linking ideas together seamlessly, and weaving your style into each dance. As always, if you have something specific you want to learn or explore, let us know and we will try to put it into the series! *Prerequisite: at least 3 months of consistent Balboa classes. If you have less than a year's experience or haven't done Bal in a while, I suggest you take the adv. beginner and the int./adv. series concurrently. ** Classes can be taken a la carte.
