From Manhattan to Magdeburg, from one Broadway to another - once a year, Lindy Hop becomes front and center for a whole weekend in Magdeburg. From 16 to 18 October 2026, Swing39 e.V. brings a complete Lindy Hop weekend with workshops for all levels and three fabulous nights of dancing. Workshops take place at Moritzhof (Moritzplatz 1, 39124 Magdeburg) and VGBS e.V. (Danzstr. 7, 39104 Magdeburg). The weekend features: Welcome Party on Friday night at Kulturzentrum Moritzhof (Scheune) starting at 8:30 p.m. with an extra class at 7:00 p.m., the highlight Broadway Ball on Saturday at Viehbörse Magdeburg (Zum Handelshof 3, 39108 Magdeburg) with live band, and Farewell Party on Sunday at Kulturzentrum Moritzhof from 5:00 p.m. with free entry for everyone.
