Join us from April 30th to May 3rd in Beersel, Belgium for a co-creation festival celebrating blues dancing, live music, and community. Experience three amazing Belgian bands - Triple Trouble, Missy Sippy All Stars, and Cactus Train performing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. On Sunday we have an after party with BluejoB at Cheval Marin in Brussels at 20h. Blues Playground is co-created by everyone who attends, bringing ideas, passions, games, knowledge, and wisdom to share in this non-profit DIY event where organisation and activities are crowdsourced. We don't have official dance teachers or organised classes but activities, workshops and classes will be organised and hosted by the participants. The full pass (230 Euros) includes all meals, accommodation at Destelheide venue, and access to all activities and 3 parties with live bands. DJs including Aaron (DJ coordinator from Germany) will play before, after, and during breaks. The venue offers exclusive outdoor access to the natural domain and forest Hanenbos, free filtered water all day, free coffee and tea during meals, yoga mats and cushions, covered smoking area, free parking, chill-out spaces, and projector. Accommodation in shared rooms of 4 with limited options for rooms of 2. Two dancing rooms available - a big one exclusively for Blues with lovely wooden floor and a smaller one for Blues and alternative music. This is a welcoming, inclusive environment focused on respect, consent, and care, creating stronger bonds in the community through shared meals, co-creation, and learning from each other both on and off the dancefloor.
