The Blues Juke Joint Weekend is an intimate Blues dance festival held in Porto, Portugal, now in its 3rd edition (October 9–11, 2026). Limited to just 100 participants, the event is inspired by the authentic atmosphere of traditional American juke joints. The weekend features Blues dance workshops (Solo Blues, Partnered Blues, Afro Jazz Blues), live music, social dancing, and a laid-back Sunday Social closing event with live music. The festival celebrates Blues not only as a dance style but as a living cultural expression, fostering deep community connection, soulful music, and genuine dance in an intimate setting.
