In this workshop, you’ll learn several variations of the “Hip Catch” and how to choose the right one to highlight different elements of the music. 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm Intermediate Workshop – "Rock N Go - A Musical Tool" "Rock N Go" is a highly effective musical tool. In this workshop, you will learn various Rock N Go techniques and how to apply them effectively to connect patterns and emphasize different elements of the music. 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm Open Practice Practice what you learned in today’s workshops. 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Intermediate Specialty Workshop - “Leader/Follower Communication and Influence” Leaders, do you ever feel stuck repeating the same patterns? Followers, do you wish you could help shape the direction of the dance? This workshop focuses on two-way communication between leaders and followers. Followers will learn how to influence the dance through shaping, rotation, and other techniques, while leaders will learn to recognize and respond to these cues effectively. Sunday, August 30 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm All Levels Workshop – “From Open to Closed Position” In this workshop we will explore inside turn variations that take us from open position to closed position and back to open position. 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm Party!
